Expected school year: September 1 to June 23. The September opening follows Mamaroneck's pre-Labor Day start in 2026; the June finish follows its recent Friday endings.
Thanksgiving is expected November 25–26, giving families a four-day weekend. Holiday recess is forecast for December 23–31, with a January 3 return. Winter recess is expected February 21–25.
Spring recess: April 10–14. Mamaroneck scheduled the week before Easter in both recent calendars. In 2028 that week includes the first two days of Passover and Good Friday. Classes are expected to resume Monday, April 17.
Diwali is expected to create an October 29–31 long weekend. Rosh Hashanah and the expected Eid al-Fitr dates fall on weekends, so no extra weekday off is predicted for either.
