Winter recess: December 20–31. Two full weeks off are expected, followed by a January 3 return. The latest calendar used a two-week break, but the previous year began December 24, so the December 20 start is less certain.
Spring recess: April 10–14. This follows the latest calendar's break during the first week of Passover. Good Friday falls inside that week in 2028. Midwinter recess is expected February 21–25.
