Victor’s traditional kindergarten classes are at the Early Childhood School, while the Primary School also enrolls kindergarteners through its optional multiage program. Primary’s mixed K/1 and 2/3 classes keep children with the same teacher for two years, using inquiry and project work alongside the standards taught in single-grade classrooms.
Entry to multiage classes is by lottery, with a waiting list when places are unavailable. Families indicate interest during registration or through the annual placement process. Choosing multiage kindergarten changes both the classroom arrangement and the building a child attends.
The broader school sequence comprises Early Childhood for prekindergarten through first grade, Primary for K–3, Intermediate for grades 4–6, Junior High for grades 7–8, and Senior High for grades 9–12.
