The school year begins September 2, 2026 and ends June 25, 2027.
Westbury separates kindergarten from the later elementary years. Dryden Street School serves prekindergarten and kindergarten; children then attend Drexel Avenue, Park Avenue, or Powells Lane for grades 1–5. The three groups join Westbury Middle School in sixth grade and enter Westbury High School in ninth.
English learners can receive stand-alone English as a New Language instruction or support integrated into subject classes. Spanish transitional bilingual education also teaches academic content in Spanish while students develop their English proficiency.
The high school’s International Baccalaureate program serves grades 11–12. Students may choose individual IB courses or undertake the full diploma, which combines six subject areas with Theory of Knowledge, an extended research essay, and creativity, activity, and service experiences.
