Batavia City School District's school sequence includes Jackson Primary, John Kennedy Intermediate, Batavia Middle School, and Batavia High School. Incoming ninth graders participate in Link Crew, where trained juniors and seniors lead orientation and provide continuing peer support through classroom visits and activities.
High school students can take Advanced Placement courses and Genesee Community College's Advanced Studies classes in English composition, mathematics, business, and Spanish. College-credit enrollment carries reduced tuition and fees. Career and technical training is available through the Genesee Valley Educational Partnership. English Academic Intervention Services teach reading and writing strategies that students can apply across subjects. Placement draws on teacher recommendations and assessments, and students may enter or leave the support class at ten-week reviews as their progress warrants.
