Bedford Central School District operates five K–5 schools: Bedford Hills, Bedford Village, Mount Kisco, Pound Ridge, and West Patent. Students continue to Fox Lane Middle School for grades 6–8 and Fox Lane High School for grades 9–12. Kindergarten is full day.
Mount Kisco Elementary's English-Spanish bilingual program is a districtwide school-of-choice option. Children learn academic subjects in both languages, rather than taking Spanish only as a separate subject. Families apply during kindergarten registration, with a lottery if demand exceeds available places; later entry requires individual approval. This option is not available at every elementary school. French, Italian, and Spanish study can begin in sixth grade. Fox Lane High School offers Advanced Placement courses and Spanish Language Arts for heritage speakers and students continuing from the elementary bilingual program.
