Somers Central School District's school sequence runs from Primrose Elementary through Somers Intermediate and Somers Middle School to Somers High School. The Advanced Learning Program provides classroom enrichment and small-group instruction for qualifying students, using assessments, classroom work, and teacher and family input to identify learning needs. Intermediate students can choose chorus, strings, or band.
Somers Middle School offers the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme in grades 6–8, while high school juniors and seniors have an IB Diploma Programme option. High school students at every course level can use the Academic Support Center for subject tutoring, study skills, and organization. Help is available through scheduled sessions or drop-in visits during the school day. The separate Writing Center assists with assignments across subjects, extended projects, and college essays.
