Starpoint Central School District's school sequence runs from Fricano Primary and Douglas J. Regan Intermediate to Starpoint Middle School and Starpoint High School. Universal prekindergarten is also available. Children needing extra help can receive reading or mathematics intervention, with school-based teams considering their learning needs and appropriate classroom supports.
School counselors, psychologists, and social workers coordinate academic and social-emotional support with families, teachers, and other school staff. English-language instruction and speech and language services address additional needs. Children requiring more specialized instruction may be referred for an individual special education evaluation. At the high school, options include Advanced Placement coursework, technology electives, music, and interscholastic athletics. Middle school counselors help families plan the transition into high school and discuss concerns affecting a student's readiness.
