Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Central School District operates Charlton Heights, Pashley, and Stevens elementary schools for kindergarten through fifth grade, followed by O'Rourke Middle School and Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake High School. Art and vocal music begin in first grade. Children learn recorder in third grade and can choose an instrument in fourth grade, with band, orchestra, and chorus available in the upper elementary years.
For advanced learners, PACE provides enrichment in grades K–8 through deeper study, projects, and problem solving. Middle school students can qualify for honors or accelerated English, mathematics, and science; entry and continuing-performance requirements apply. High school students can continue with honors and Advanced Placement courses. Elementary enrichment also includes after-school clubs and Odyssey of the Mind.
